Dipentene
Racemic limonene
Description
Dipentene is the racemic form of limonene, recovered as a fraction during terpene processing. It combines genuine solvent power with a pleasant citrus odour, which is why it appears both in industrial formulations and in consumer products.
In the rubber industry it is well established as a reclaiming agent, and in coatings it works as a solvent that also improves flow and levelling.
