Gum Rosin & Ester Gum

Gum Rosin

Nine commercial grades · also called colophony

Description

Gum Rosin is the solid resin left after the volatile fraction has been distilled from pine oleoresin. It is graded principally on colour, and we carry nine commercial grades so that a buyer can specify exactly the colour standard their finished product needs without paying for a paler grade than necessary.

Across adhesives, paper sizing, printing inks, rubber compounding and soap production, rosin remains one of the most widely used natural resins in industry.
